You'll have to excuse the Rutgers football team for their general confusion regarding TD celebrations.
These proud student-athletes simply don't have the necessary experience to conduct themselves in an appropriate fashion after something positive happens on the football field.
As a result, unfortunate scenes like the one today in Piscataway are bound to happen.
The Scarlet Knights were somehow able to complete a 74-yard TD pass in the first quarter of their showdown with the Les MIles-owned Boston College Eagles.
Here's the play, which was a pretty nifty little catch and run:

After the initial shock wore off, the Knights were ready to party, especially large human center Mike Maietti:

Dude, what the hell?

Yep, right in the face.
We understand that QB Art Sitkowski didn't enjoy getting punched right in the face, an experience that apparently convinced him to avoid the endzone for the rest of their inevitable 30-16 loss.
The Knights have a full week to work on this shit before traveling to Michigan next Saturday.
Unfortunately, Jim Harbaugh seems to get off on embarrassing Rutgers in public, and his khakis will really be in a bunch after getting smoked by Bucky in Madison.
Best of luck.
