Kansas Inexplicably Beats a Power Five Conference School on the Road

Never once doubt the mystical powers of The Hat.

When Les Miles accepted the head coaching position at the University of Kansas, most people giggled incessantly.

Well, they're not doubled over from laughter anymore.

Actually, they probably will be again, but not this week.

The Jayhawks entered this season sporting one of the most ridiculous streaks of futility ever conceived by man or beast.

This Big XII program had somehow not won a road game against a Power Five school in 11 years, totaling 48 such games.

We ran them several times and kept getting the same results.

But this Saturday, the Mad Hatter visited Boston College of the ACC and left with a 48-24 win.

Don't worry, we double-checked that score as well.

Dudes rattled off 27 straight points to close out the game, clearly inspired by their coach's nuanced performance in The Challenger Disaster.

It appears that his Jayhawks are getting the message.

Apparently, it's quantifiable.
