The New NFL Celebration Rules Make Gronk Happy

It seems the NFL may be chilling out a bit.

Not everything attached to the league needs to be a colossal bummer, like domestic violence or concussion protocol.

With the new season about to begin for real, many fans are anticipating more elaborate touchdown celebrations on Sundays, the by-product of a refreshing off-season rule change.

The players are digging this new creative freedom as well, including the lovable Rob Gronkowski, a dude who clearly enjoys expressing himself, both on the field and in any club that will consider running him a tab.

Oh, and the White House.

Apparently, Gronk doesn't have any routines choreographed yet, but he's still pretty excited about the rules change.

The oft-injured Patriots tight end is quite fond of spiking the ball into the ground with the force of a supernova after scoring a touchdown, but perhaps this newly discovered freedom will stimulate his imagination further.

The genius is clearly in the simplicity.

Players will now be allowed to perform organized group end zone numbers, along with using the ball as a prop, if the mood strikes.

Of course, there are limitations, such as using the ball as a grenade, or any weapon for that matter.

Sadly, the Josh Norman archery exhibition is still a no-no.

Also, Antonio Brown can still only gyrate in the privacy of his own home, and not in the end zone.

That is most unfortunate.
