Westbrook & Durant: Working on Being Grumpy Old Men

How ridiculous is it getting in Oklahoma City when the Dubs come to town?

Ironically ridiculous.

First of all, how do fans boo an ex-Sonic for taking a hella deal with a juggernaut?

If it wasn't for skullduggery by the team owners to yank the team outta Seattle, they wouldn't have anyone to boo or cheer in the first place.

With a legacy like that, how can anybody logically jeer anything that happens to that team?

But this is sports.

And while all forms of entertainment needs villains, it's kinda bizarre to see fans of villains making a villain outta the player who left them after doing his homework and taking the long view.

Westbrook prefers to keep it in simple terms, which is his bestie flitted off to another clique.

To date, every time the Dubs hit OKC, Durant has shown time and again that he's in a better situation.

Now, finally, the former UCLA Bruin got one back, 108-91. Thing is, that still wound up being a sideshow as the pettiness never surrendered center stage:

Hard to believe two grown men can't drop it.

Then again, maybe they're just getting started.
