The Ending to This Bears vs Broncos Game Was Completely Bananas

There are weird NFL happenings, and then there's the end of the Bears vs Broncos tussle on Sunday.

Every conceivable oddity went down in the final 39 seconds of this game, including general officiating incompetence, which actually isn't peculiar at all.

Perhaps we should set the scene a bit.

The Broncos were down, 13-6, with under a minute remaining when a completely pedestrian game turned into a baggy pants farce:

Yes, absolutely insane ending is an accurate description of those events.

In fact, that may be selling it short.

First of all, much love and respect to the testosterone-fueled Vic Fangio with the two-point conversion after that shockingly good Joe Flacco TD pass.

Of course, the former Super Bowl MVP then proceeded to take his sweet time with the initial attempt and absorbed a delay of game, something youd think a veteran QB would be able to avoid.

But that's what makes Flacco such an enigma.

Anyway, there was the missed XP, the Bears' offside penalty, and a successful two-point conversion.

Your turn, Mitchell Trubisky.

The third-year signal caller is still trying to figure out this whole football thing, but dude did make a money throw on 4th down to get the Bears in range for the game-winner.

Of course, he got some assistance from one of those ridiculous roughing the passer penalties on a frustrated Bradley Chubb.

And finally, here's that Eddy Pineiro 53-yard bomb:

Just another twisted day in the NFL neighborhood.
