Gabrielle Union Foolishly Wagers a Taco Tuesday on Nebraska Beating Ohio State

It's never a good idea to pick a football game based on emotion and personal allegiances.

But that just doesn't stop some people.

Like the lovely Gabrielle Union, who stopped by ESPN's Gameday in Lincoln with husband Dwayne Wade for the big throwdown between the Cornhuskers and Buckeyes.

Inevitably, she was asked to select a winner, and the Nebraska native picked with her heart:

 

Just as predictably, the addled Lee Corso went with the other team:

 

We can only hope that OG isn't taking those heads home with him.

Of course, the upset of the century didn't happen, as The Ohio State University punished the Huskers, 48-7.

 

Now, this could've been a no harm, no foul situation, but things had already escalated before the game, courtesy of Ohio native King James:

The lesson here is simple.

Taco Tuesday is much too critical to the fabric of our nation to be used as fodder for a silly bet.
