Auburn's Ready for a Dogfight between the Hedges

For all the other hoopla that comes outta the SEC this time of year, it's often forgotten who's got the oldest rivalry in those parts.
So maybe you can throw out the record books in this one. Neither team cares about that. The Bulldogs have a CFP slot still in play, while the Tigers are still trying to make something of their season.
Why you should bet on Auburn ...
The Tigers are 6-3 straight-up and third in the SEC West. Against the betting spread, Auburn is 4-4 overall and 2-1 on the road.
The Tigers will have to lean on their 13th-ranked defense -- 17.3-points against per game -- to beat the Bulldogs. Georgia's pass offense ranks 78th with a measly 222.4 yards per game. If they can stop Georgia's 16th-ranked rushing offense, they've got a shot at keeping this close.
Maybe not that close, though.
Why bet on Georgia ...
The Bulldogs are 8-1 SU and have already wrapped up the SEC East title. Their ATS records are 5-3 overall and 2-1 at home.
Head-to-head, Georgia leads the all-time series against Auburn, 58-56-8. Moreover, dudes have taken 12 outta the last 17 meetings between these two.
