The Saints Go Marching All Over Manchester City

This hasn't exactly been the way big brands are accustomed to ending a season.

First, those upstarts from the Midlands are close to swiping their trophy.

And now, the cannon fodder's blowing up the cannon.

That would be Southampton, taking the fat cats from Manchester City behind the woodshed and thumping them, 4-2.

City decided to rest its stars for this one, and they paid the price dearly.

Southampton may be Saints in name but not in nature. They attack in wonderful ways. For example, take this Shane Long finish that couldn've been borrowed from a basketball fast break:

Not a good display of defense by the Citizens, ahead of facing Real Madrid.

Sadio Mané also exploited that weakness:

Dude just added one more reason for Manchester United to rain dosh upon him.

City got one back as one its rare self-developed youngsters -- Kelechi Iheanacho -- scored on a rebound.

The Saints took no mercy, however, asMané scored again:

That's one wild party going on in City's defense.

Mané completed his hat trick while City continued to give the term defense a bad name:

The best goal was still to come, though, when Iheanacho scored a stunner:

This dude is going places.
