Spurs Have Morphed into Pepé Le Pew

So the Premiership's title chase has come down to this:

The Old Boys v the Outsiders.

And the former has held serve while the latter stumbled.

Tottenham visited the Mark Hughes' ever-improving Stoke City for what many thought would be a tricky fixture. It wasn't. Spurs demolished the Potters, 0-4, to pile even more pressure on Leicester City.

Looks like it'll be an understatement to say the season is going to end with even more drama.

The next episode should be a decision on Jamie Vardy's extended ban.

And for that he decides to bitch at the referee?

As much skullduggery as went on in that match, how Vardy thought he could get away with a lace move like that is beyond comprehension.

So, the Foxes are scrambling while the Spurs are methodically moving along.

Perhaps Tottenham hasn't won England's top-tier title since 1961, but this crew has been in the crucible much, much longer than Leicester.

Time to see if it makes a difference.

The phenomenon that is Harry Kane set the tone nine minutes into it:

Dude's middle name is surely Incredible.

Spurs remained comfortably in control throughout before finally deciding to make the scoreline more indicative of the action in the late stages.

That flurry stared with the young hotshot Deli Alli, who lofted a nifty little chip to double the lead:

He just keeps getting better and better.

And what would a flurry be without a HurriKane?.

All goals come to Kane and not the other way around.

Alli wasn't done, either, securing his brace as Stoke got bored with defending:

And just like that, Leicester City became the hunted.

While the Foxes have a game -- and maybe two -- to hope Leo Ulloa can live up to Claudio Rainieri's trust, Tottenham is brimming with confidence.

These sides are definitely taking different routes to the finish line.
