The Shot Dude: Chiclet Fairy

I was amazed to discover that children are getting $10 or more when losing their first tooth.

Your favorite Shot Dude only received one lousy quarter, but that was decades ago.

The only others cashing in for losing teeth these days are hockey players, who refer to teeth as chiclets.

I'm no chiclet fairy, but have some solid ideas for your fantasy hockey lineup. But first, give this kid a tenner! He deserves it!

With six great NHL games on tap for tonight, get all the details by using the Bovada data tool on our Home page:

FanDuel magically gets reloaded with great fantasy games to play each day. Give them a try if you haven't already. Here are six worthy skaters around which to build your team:

Forwards

Max PaciorettyMontréal ($7300) ... is the Canadiens' shot leader with 250 in 67 games this season. Those 250 shots rank him fourth in the entire league and have resulted in 24 goals. Four of Pacioretty's 49 points this season have come in three games against tonight's opponent, Buffalo. In fact, dude has 20 points in 27 career games against the Sabres. Look for him to add to that career mark tonight on home ice, where the Habs own an impressive 18-11-3 record.

Jaromír Jágr, Florida ($5700) ... is part of another team that's blitzed the competition at home. Florida has gone 20-9-5 at the BB&T Center, and Jágr's 49 points in 63 games have been a major key to the Panthers' success. Ottawa comes to town tonight; they're the team Jágr's scorched for 40 goals and 44 assists in 72 career games. The Panthers have a chance to create a three-way tie with Boston and Tampa Bay atop the Atlantic Division if tonight goes their way.

Dylan LarkinDetroit ($4900) ... has proven to be one of the NHL's fastest skaters and is putting together a tremendous case for the Calder Trophy with his play this season. Dude's scored 19 goals on 170 shots and added 20 assists in 64 games. The Red Wings get to face a downtrodden Winnipeg team that's only won two of their last ten games. Detroit has a great chance for a victory because the Jets possess a lackluster 13-17-3 record in away games, and their 59 points in the standings are second-worst in the entire NHL.

Defensemen

Brent BurnsSan José ($8200) ... is just a machine. Dude has 4 goals, 5 assists, and launched 24 shots in his last 5 games alone! Burns' 284 shots are second in the NHL, and he now has 60 points in 66 games with this recent barrage. With 80 points, the Sharks have currently returned to the West's playoff picture, and they can add to that total at home tonight against faltering New Jersey. The Devils have lost eight of their last ten and own a goal differential of -22.

Torey Krug, Boston ($5900) ... is not a player Boston relies upon to score much, judging by his three goals to this point in the season. Dude's pitched in with 200 shots, 30 apples, and an average of 21:28 minutes of ice time per contest. He's tallied eight of those helpers in the last ten games, and he and his Bruin mates get to skate home ice against Carolina tonight. The Hurricanes have only managed a mediocre 13-14-5 record in road games so far this season.

Goaltender

Darcy Kuemper, Minnesota ($7800) ... claimed a victory over tonight's opponent, Edmonton, in a 31-save performance on Thu 18 Feb. Kuemper gets the call due to starter Devan Dubnyk's illness. In limited duty, dude has 6 wins -- two by shutout -- and a tidy .922 save percentage. He might let a puck or two past him, but this is a great matchup at home, against an Oiler team that's played their way to a putrid 10-21-5 road mark to date.

Your favorite Shot Dude sincerely hopes you don't lose any chiclets and gain some cash from your fantasy games.
