Another Jágr First: Chiclets
Actually, judging by the teeth still there, this was no great loss.
Thus, it's safe to say that ageless wonder Jaromír Jágr had a set of choppers that were made for hockey.
Call it addition by subtraction.
And Ottawa forward Alex Chiasson did the honors:
Obviously, the refs didn't, either.
While the Czech legend has done virtually everything else in his career, losing teeth wasn't one of them until now.
But the dude wasn't fazed. Probably because he's never fazed.
Needless to say, as a hockey player, Jágr never gave a thought to leaving the game.
All of which puts to rest that old Versus promo where the New York Rangers' Alex Kovalev was sitting on a goal before a game against Pittsburgh -- when Jágr played there -- and musing:
