Bama's McCarron, Miami's Morris Shine at Manning Camp

While Johnny Football was apparently getting his drink on while down in Louisiana at the Manning Passing Academy, Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron and Miami quarterback Stephen Morris were impressing the NFL scouts.

According to NFL.com's Bucky Brooks, both quarterbacks look NFL-ready.

Brooks said that McCarron is more than just a "game manager" as some have called him.

From Brooks' observation, he thought McCarron had "superb arm strength" and "better than anticipated range and touch on deep balls." McCarron has the look of a franchise quarterback in the NFL, according to Brooks.

Brooks was equally impressed with Morris saying the young quarterback  was"deadly accurate" and can "spin the ball with exceptional velocity and zip."

That's the good news, the bad news is now that NFL teams know how good they are, they might be headed to a bad NFL team next year (see New York Jets).

But still, it's nice to see that some quarterbacks actually took this camp seriously instead of acting as if they were auditing for role a role on Big Brother.
