North Dakota State Wins the Real NCAA Div I Football Title

Time to start a new streak.

That feisty Bison herd from Fargo took back what they believed was rightfully theirs on the windy fields of Frisco, Texas by topping the James Madison Dukes, 17-13, in the NCAA Division I championship.

Unfortunately, most know it as the Football Championship Subdivision title.

what's in a name?

Damn right.

And the second-seeded Bison -- you can say that when there's more than four teams in the bracket --  think it's nifty-cool sweet.

Somewhere in the City of Brotherly Love, Bison alum Carson Wentz -- with too much time on his hands -- is no doubt proudly wearing his green-&-gold jersey.

Among other reasons, dude's got a cousin on this year's team.

They're rather close-knit in that part of the country.

However, there is a point where they've gotta draw the line.
