Did Les Miles Diss AJ McCarron?

LSU head coach Les Miles might have put his foot in his mouth again this time by dissing Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron.

Then again, the Mad Hatter is crazy like a ... well ... like a coach who wins more games than he loses. He has his ways, even if no one else can understand them.

Miles told reporters yesterday during his weekly press conference that McCarron was a "great within the scheme playmaker." Sounds like a backhanded compliment to me.

McCarron, throughout his career, has always been called a "game-manager," basically meaning he isn't good enough to win games on his own. But time and again, he's proven that when called upon, he can win ball games with his arm and, on occasion, his legs.

Just ask Texas A&M and -- what do you know! -- even LSU, whom he defeated last year on a last-minute drive.

A few weeks ago, McCarron was not too happy when he felt like Tennessee was disrespecting both him and his teammates. Wonder how he's going to feel when he hears what Miles said about him?

Check out this video of Miles' press conference, right after a word from their sponsor.
