Sterling's Apology: Too Little, Too Late

After 16 days, Donald Sterling has finally offer an apology for his racist comments.

Well, isn't that special?

It took him 16 days to come up with an excuse as to why he made those comments.

Sterling had his say with Anderson Cooper last night in an exclusive interview, but let me ask this question; does he honestly think any of this makes a difference?

Mr. Sterling, you can apologize and make excuses all day, but you still won't get your team back.

Sterling's so-called apology turned into Magic Johnson bashing. He talked about Magic having AIDS when in truth, Magic has HIV and not full-blown AIDS.

He asked Anderson Cooper what has Magic done for the black community, which if he hasn't checked, is considerable.

And this was his apology? Instead of admitting he was wrong, he managed to make himself look like an even bigger jerk by blaming his issues on Magic.

In the end, Sterling just sounded like a bitter old man who's jealous of another man. He already admitted most of the things he said were to get into the pants of V Stiviano.

Stiviano admitted in her interview with Barbara Walters that she loved Sterling as a father figure, but not as a lover or boyfriend, which I'm sure set him off more.

Listen Donald, if a 20-somethng year old is dating your old behind, nine times out of ten, it's not because you're a stud in the bedroom.

I'm glad Anderson Cooper didn't back down nor have a Real Housewives of Atlanta moment and jumped Sterling, as I'm sure he wanted too.

If Sterling has that big of problem with Magic, why doesn't he just confront him like a man instead of hiding behind cameras, his girlfriend, and his wife?

Magic, being who he is, didn't respond back to Sterling He knows, like the rest of us, that answering a fool would be sinking to his level. Magic is better than that.
