Rocky Mountain High

NBA playoff teams have had few days to rest up and get ready for their (hopefully) long post-season run.

In the case of Denver and Golden State, running and gunning is just what I see them doing.

As you will find on our Bovada data tool provided on our Home page, both teams put up and give up over 100 points per game. And when they have met head-to-head recently, both teams reached the century point in scoring fairly easy.

These two have split their last two meetings, with Denver wining most recently ,116-105. The Warriors prevailed in the meeting prior to that, 106-105, back in November.

While both teams are accustomed to lighting up the scoreboard, they do so in completely different ways. Denver has made their living scoring in the paint while the Warriors shot an impressive 40.8% from three-point range during the regular season. For over players, it does't matter if the points come from 4f or 24ft, as long as they come. And in this game I think they will because often times they do. 10 of the last 15 contests between these two have gone over the total, while five of Denver's last six overall have cashed in for over players.

Put it all together (especially with both teams rested), and I see an entertaining game (wagering aside) with up and down action and scoring at a pretty high pace. Bovada has set the over/under at 211.

I will be betting on a lot of baskets.

My pick: Golden St at Denver      OVER 211

UPDATE:

Result ... Denver 97 Golden State 95     total points = 192     UNDER covers
