LeBron's Block-&-Buzzer Beater Pops Pacers in Game 5

At some point in any alleged team effort, an alpha dog's gotta assess the situation and make a game-changing decision.

Seems like the Cleveland Cavaliers have gone there.

It's also inherently obvious the NBA's reigning alpha dog has made his choice.

Call it the Cartman Maneuver.

It was damn nice of Kyle Korver to make a special guest appearance in the scorebook for a second game in a row, but the only reason this series still lives is down to the sheer will of LeBron James.

That it took yet another Herculean effort to subdue the Indiana Pacers by a mere 98-95 count should continue to raise more eyebrows than hopes among the Cavs faithful:

That Goodyear winged foot logo on Cleveland's jersey might soon come to symbolize James's feelings about whether or not to stick around the spiritual Home of Rock-&-Roll for another turn.

Where someone like, say, Kobe Bryant considered his teammates as no more than human funnels whose primary purpose was to get him the ball, James is a consummate team player. The issue he's got here is having his crew realize it.

Dude's more than their haberdasher.

James's last-second heroics wouldn't have mattered if he didn't go 15-15 from the stripe.

Safe to say dude's covering every detail right now. All he needs is the supporting cast to just cover something in their job descriptions.

Simple as that.
