LeBron Labors for 45 in Game 7 as Cavaliers Oust Pacers

Whoever heard of 40-point nights in the playoffs getting old?

LeBron James, maybe?

It's well established this spring that if dude doesn't post performances like that, the Cleveland Cavaliers are toast.

Frankly, with Toronto and its deep roster next on the schedule, even if James does keep it up, an early off-season still beckons.

Come to think of it ...

LeBron's gotta spend that $35,607,968 he's earning this season somewhere.

Speaking of, whoever thought anyone would be getting scratch like that and being underpaid?

James was ready to go the full 48 in Game 7, but his bod wouldn't allow it. Leg cramps are never fun, but the rest of his person needed the break.

If you can read lips and/or know your head bobs, you'll recognize that the King of Cleveland is clearly paying homage to the city's doofus sports talk radio host.

Is there anything James wouldn't do for his city? Other than leave it for balanced pastures?

Ironically, LeBron left the court with the Cavs holding a two-point lead. Five minutes later, after his superpowers were restored, he'd discovered that George Hill, Tristan Thompson, and Kevin Love were the main cogs in that buffer growin to eight.

Hope for more of that next season, Cleveland fans.

As for the business at hand, James did what he had to do to register the Cavs' 105-100 series clincher:

At some point, you run outta adjectives.

And at another point in the very near future, this won't be enough.

That'll be when the beach is gonna look really good.

Not South Beach. Just the beach. Any beach.
