Mourinho Ready to Rumble after Chelsea's Late Bitta Shade

Seems like the long international break hadn't soothed any raw nerves.

The Chelsea Football Club still has no love for José Mourinho. The feeling's not only mutual, but the Special One's still got issues with his situation at Old Trafford.

So, who's surprised dude found a way to commandeer the spotlight before this match day was done?

The match itself was highly entertaining, with Chelsea salvaging a 2-2 draw six minutes into time added on. The managerial fireworks were ignited by it.

Both teams were in attacking mode on the pitch all day, and sparks had been flying throughout.

As to the scoring, fast forward to the 21st minute. That's when Antonio Rudiger found himself free inside the box in a moment of distraction from French international Paul Pogba. Dude headed homea Willian corner:

The Blues were making more advances and wound up peppering the United defense, 21 shots to 7. However, the margin of those on target was closer, 6 to four.

United actually didn't have a shot on goal until the 55th minute. Chelsea's 'keeper Kepa parried away Juan Mata’s effort, and Ashley Young got the rebound. He tried to fire home, but his attempt turned out to be a dandy dime to Anthony Martial, who wasn't gonna let the opportunity -- intended or not -- go wasted:

In the 73rd, Mata was again the architect.

The Spaniard found Marcus Rashford on the right, who in turn delivered to Martial inside the box, whereupon the Frenchman added a bitta artistry to the proceedings:

Not sure if the Devils had premature visions of three points or not, but they had to be wondering if the referee had swallowed his whistle.

They dodged one bullet in the 95th minute, David Luiz hit the far post from a header. Antonio Rüdiger tried to head the rebound home, but he was brilliantly denied by David de Gea.

However, after that brilliant save, substitute Ross Barkley appeared and fired home the equalizer:

That smash-&-grab of a point elated Chelsea assistant coach Marco Ianni went off-protocol and celebrated directly in front of United's bench.

Mourinho didn't take kindly to it:

Blues manager Maurizio Sarri -- probably between cigarettes -- defused it as much as he could, ordering Ianni to apologize.

As if that was sincere.

The rematch is scheduled for Sat 27 Apr at Old Trafford, unless Mourinho and Ianni meet in a bar somewhere first.
