The 49ers Visit Dan Snyder's Waterpark in DC
Despite the gratuitous violence, NFL football can be quite beautiful at times.
However, it can also be hideously disfigured.
The elements conspired to produce the latter this past Sunday in DC, as FedEx Field was transformed into an outdoor waterpark.
Not everyone had a good time, though.
The host Redskins continued to be really bad at football, with the torrential rain and wind only exacerbating their offensive woes.
Of course, the Niners were playing on the same field:
Modern broadcast cameras are *excellent* at cutting through rain, so often people at home don't fully comprehend just how wet it is when it's raining.

Here's some good vision of the conditions the #Redskins / #49ers are dealing with today. pic.twitter.com/KcxOq65qNQ
That actually looks like a blast.
Dudes were definitely dealing with a variety of rain.
The Niners eventually prevailed 9-0, setting the game of football back decades -- not to mention catching our Sportbet prognosticator off-guard, and he still almost covered -- but they were really enjoying themselves in the process, particularly the vengeful Nick Bosa:
Can't rain on our parade.
