An Attention-Starved Tom Brady Wears Ridiculous Hat to Pre-Season Game
Apparently, Tom Brady is simply fed up with being ignored.
Still licking his wounds from the failed Tom Terrific trademarking attempt, the New England Patriots QB and suspect parent took desperate fashion measures both before and after a recent preseason game against the Carolina Panthers.
Now, the fact that their opponent was Carolina is noteworthy, because Panthers QB Cam Newton has his own trademark on unusual, fashion-forward head wear.
But while the hats and wardrobe seem to blend seamlessly with Newton's vibe, this hat selection from Brady just feels like a cry for help or plea for attention.
Seriously, look at this thing:

We're not sure if there's such a thing as a Panama hat intervention, but Brady's loved ones should do a little research.
It's as if he wants us to point and laugh.
And speaking of Cam, here's the prerequisite side-by-side comparison video:

Who wore it better: @TomBrady or @CameronNewton? pic.twitter.com/2n3lTr0WsG
Obviously Cam, but the fake Tom Terrific does get bonus points for never fleeing a Super Bowl post-game press conference.
Of course, the Internet hordes weren't going to let this fat pitch sail by:

We're guessing dude's never raised a barn before.
Only three people in the world can rock this hat and look good: Tom Brady, Tom Brady and Tom Brady. pic.twitter.com/i9BEahxHCQ

Wait, how'd that positive one slip in there?

Now, that soup reference sounds awfully familiar.
But it looks good on you, Tom.
