Well, it appears the NFL doesn't quite have the market cornered on criminally negligent officiating.
While not as confusing or egregious as the pro game, college football has certainly featured some deep dicking of a few programs this season.
You can now add South Carolina to this unfortunate list.
Just don't ask Will Muschamp about it.
The surly head coach of the Gamecocks can barely contain his rage on a good day, but he was practically apoplectic yesterday.
After upsetting Georgia on the road a week earlier, the Cocks pushed Florida to the limit at home.
However, the officials seemed hellbent on insuring they wouldn't take down another Top Ten program:

That horrific no-call allowed a touchdown that put the Gators up by 11 points in the fourth quarter and pretty much sealed South Carolina's fate.
And this was on the heels of a missed false start on a 75-yard Florida score in the third quarter.
Here's the beleaguered Muschamp dripping water and vitriol on the microphone afterwards:

That's right, they hit the poor bastard with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for trying to acquaint the officiating crew with a little something we like to call logic.
Sadly, Coach Muschamp is still searching for clarify:
Will Muschamp: "I am still waiting for word (from the SEC). I know that Coach Tanner has been tirelessly working for us on getting some answers about what happened Saturday. He is obviously very upset like a lot of us are about some occurrences on Saturday."

Good luck with that.
