The Magic Seem to Think They've Fixed Markelle Fultz

We haven't heard much about Markelle Fultz since Philly cut bait and traded him to the Orlando Magic last year, but we'd just assume forget that horribly defective jump shot.

The former No 1 pick experienced a waking nightmare in his two seasons with the Sixers, transforming into a human punchline.

In the interest of context, here's what dude was reduced to last season.

You may want to have the kids leave the room.

As you can see, Fultz was constantly experimenting with his form, and the results were grim.

However, he's still only 21 and is getting a second chance with the Magic.

With the season approaching, it seems his new team is cautiously optimistic about his chances for a rebirth.

In fact, they've released a carefully edited hype video featuring the tortured Fultz:

We haven't, but thanks.

This may turn out to be complete hubris on the part of the Magic, but it certainly can't get much worse for Fultz.

Perhaps they've cured what ails him.

But sometimes these hype videos are ill-advised, like the one the Bills once made for the doomed Nathan Peterman:

You have to wonder what he looks like at the foul line.
