The Dysfunctional Pirates Now Have a Full-Blown Mutiny on Their Hands
Boy, that Clint Hurdle really runs a tight ship in Pittsburgh.
Not to belabor the theme, but the Pirates organization is completely rudderless at the moment, and fans have most certainly noticed.
After the many brawls they've participated in this season with the Cincinnati Reds and others, these scurvy dogs were probably due for a clubhouse scuffle that resulted in an injury to one of their own.
Well, here we are.
Fellow relievers Kyle Crick and Felipe Vázquez were participants in what we'll call an altercation before a recent game.

Yep, it's all fun and games until one of your middle relievers rips a tendon in their right index finger.

The All-Star closer appears to have survived the carnage.
This sort of thing can't be good for morale.
At least Crick doesn't have to pitch any more this season.
