Zidane’s Real Madrid Is an Attack Force Extraordinaire

Real Madrid has escalated iits attacking powers, thanks to manager Zinedine Zidane.

One of the more obscure nicknames for this crew is Los Vikingos, but they went all bolts from Asgard on Athletic Club, plundering a 4-2 decision to keep things interesting in La Liga.

Every time Real plays, a goal fiesta is always a possibility, and lately, it's exactly what they provide.

Cristiano Ronaldo & Co are heating things up.

Incidentally, ignore the dude with the horns. He apparently didn't get the memo that Vikings never wore them.

Anyway, Cristiano Ronaldo went all berserker to the start the proceedings with a wonder goal:

He can still launch rockets, all right.

A silly error, though, allowed Eraso to get Athletic Club back to level.

Dude's lucky this one wasn't being fought with axes and swords. The Valkyries wouldn't have escorted him to Valhalla after a gaffe like that.

In the 37th minute, though, things got back to the script when another howitzer screamed home from James Rodríguez:

Ronaldo assisted and Toni Kroos netted it for Real’s third:

A weird assist, that one.

Ronaldo then showed why he's won three Ballon d'Or awards.

Who else can do that?

Elustondo hit Athletic’s second, but was all too late.

It is and it was.
