Relegation-Threatened Swans Earn Precious Point against Everton

Drama in the Premiership has shifted from the top.

  • Manchester City will clinch the title any moment now,
  • Champions League spots seem secure for the Citizens, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham, and
  • There's still a bit of a scuffle for Europa League spots, with Chelsea in there but Arsenal holding off Burnley.

The Clarets might be thrilled to still have something to strive for, but the Europa is sort of a backhanded luxury for the big brands.

 

This is the time of year where top-tier survival takes center stage, and Swansea City ust gave their cause a vital point.

Dudes had very little hope of salvaging anything out of a clash with upper-table Everton on home soil, but thanks to Jordan Ayew, the match ended on equal favors, 1-1.


It didn't look so rosy in the early going, though.
