Real Madrid Stages a Five-Star Performance

Once again, a Spanish giant has justified its stature.

Real Madrid hosted Osasuna and wasted no time demolishing them, 5-2.

Real's mega-star, Cristiano Ronaldo, returned to the field, and it took him only few minutes to register his name on the goal sheet.

Whoa! Are the dudes Osasuna put out there on their roster or their pass list?

Danilo made full use of yet another Los Rojillos mess to pop Real’s second of the day:

Sheesh.

What was that chip in the middle supposed to be? A tribute to Seve Ballesteros? Cheeky.

That's like a cat toying with its just-caught dinner.

love to eat them mousies

Sergio Ramos was next up with a more common aerial display.

Of course, it did have a touch of elite pinache to it:

Dude was a bit early in this one. Usually, he scores at the 90-minute mark.

Pepe also joined in on the air show:

By then, the real drama was whether or not that goal celebration would cause injury.

It does happen.

Broken ankle. Dude missed a season-and-a-half as a result.

So much for caveat emptor. Getting back to the action, Luka Modrić continued his Euro 2016 form, scoring an absolute stunner on the hour:

All that was left was a little Castilian hospitality.

Osasuna potted a pair of consolation goals, but by the time they did, it had already gone all too wrong.
