Manchester City Discovers There Actually Is Something about 'Arry

When one hears the fixture QPR v Manchester City, no one expects competition.

They expect something akin to Christians v Lions in ancient Rome.

But the story is different here.

Bottom-feeders Queens Park Rangers were the masters of their own turf against the Sky Blues on Sunday. Manchester City -- what with its name and fame, money and price tags -- could do nothing about the quick passing QPR that troubled City’s struggling defense the entire match.

As a result, QPR earned a well-deserved 2-2 draw at Loftus Road.

To further add to City's defensive misery, 'keeper Joe Hart had his own moment in the spotlight:

This gift to Charlie Austin’s was cancelled out by the Argentine megastar Sergio Agüero 11 minutes later, but City's charity wasn't done yet. Defender Martín Demechelis elegantly guided the ball into his own net in the 76th minute.

However, with crafty manager -- and certified relegation rescuer -- Harry Redknapp's Rangers on the verge of victory, it was Agüero again who saved City, sealing the draw.

QPR salvaged a precious point from the proceedings, but it has to be said that City dropped two dear points. Chelsea now sit eight points clear of them with no sign of slowing down. City needs to gear up.
