Everton Finally Gets in Gear

It's taken a long time for the Toffees to register a complete performance.

Everton came out strong against an unsettled Newcastle side to comfortably collect trois points with a 3-0 triumph at Goodison Park.

Everton haven't fully showcased their potential in the Premiership this season. There's so much talent at their disposal but this time, they got their act togetehr. In fact, the Toffees looked oh-so-home on this one.

Their splendid outing was initiated by James McCarthy:

No guarantee about worms being harmed in the making of that goal.

Newcastle’s poor performance bottomed out when Everton were granted a penalty.

Dude, the penalty area isn't the right place to showcase skullduggery. Can't be giving the whistle a reason to point to the spot.

Romelu Lukaku stepped up and netted home a sweet left foot-right corner:

Dude's evolved so much since  the miss against mighty Bayern:

U-G-L-Y. Still ain't got no alibi.

Come to think of it, neither did the Magpies on this occasion. Seeing red didn't help, either.

Talk about a 1-2 combo, there. First the slide, and then, the hit. Sinister.

Newcastle red card

Ross Barkley gave the Evertonians even more joy, as he scored just seconds before the final whistle.

Beautiful play in every respect.

After stuttering all season, the Toffees have shown enough that their slogan from 2013-2014 has carried over:
