Jean-Gabriel Pageau Executes Sick Playoff Hat Trick

Jean-Gabriel Pageau may have just refined the term clutch.

The Ottawa Senators center and hometown hero was absolutely ridiculous in Game 2 of their second-round matchup against the New York Rangers.

The Sens really had no business winning this game, but after falling behind by two goals five minutes into the third quarter, Pageau decided to get involved.

He scored two goals in the final three minutes of regulation to tie the game and send it to overtime.

Very much so.

The tying goal gave Pageau his hat trick, but he was clearly not satisfied.

Almost three minutes into the second overtime period, dude did this:

How money is that?

The beautiful babies clearly love Pageau.

So money.

For a little perspective, Pageau had scored a grand total of five playoff goals in 23 career appearances before this game.

In addition, dude became the first Senator to score four goals in a playoff contest.

Pageau may have single-handedly doomed the Rangers, as instead of going back to New York at one game apiece, they now find themselves in a 2-0 hole.

That's playoff hockey, dudes.

Deal with it.
