Twitter Wars! Recent Super Bowl Foes Going at It, Thumb and Nail

In this latest episode of Twitter Wars, two recent Super Bowl participants, San Francisco 49er offensive lineman Anthony Davis and Baltimore Raven linebacker Terrell Suggs, are going at it. And I love it.

Apparently Suggs stated that Davis was a "fake tough guy" on a local radio show. Things, as they usually do on Twitter Wars, escalated to where Davis called Suggs an "(expletive) loser". Davis, for those of you playing the home game, was on the losing end of this season's Super Bowl match-up.

Now, I may be a simple, good lookin', 20-something-year-old, but to call someone a loser after they beat you in a Super Bowl is a little ironic, isn't it?

However you put it, two grown men talking smack in 180 characters or less is hilarious and deeply depressing at the same time.

The 49ers and Ravens will not meet in the 2013 regular season, so the nearest possibility would be another Super Bowl pairing, which the odds say is extremely unlikely.

Too bad Bovada doesn't lay odds on 21st century thumb-wrestling in the Twitterverse.
