The Return of Jim Tomsula

Jim Tomsula is coaching in the NFL again, and the world is a much better place as a result.

We all owe a sizable debt of gratitude to the Washington Redskins, an organization that had the courage and foresight to hire this dude to coach their defensive line.

Before this amazing hire, Tomsula hadn't been seen since his disastrous one-year head coaching stint in San Francisco ended in predictable failure.

The relatable Everyman was an obscure position coach with the 49ers until the organization decided he was the man to replace the departed Jim Harbaugh, who is also quite special in his own way.

Yes, that was head coach Jim Tomsula possibly farting during a press conference back in 2015.

The expression on his face pretty much answers that question.

Tomsula was extremely popular with his players, which is the primary reason he got that head coaching gig.

However, he always seemed completely overwhelmed, particularly when attempting to communicate with the media.

This condition produced some real verbal gold in that one lonely season, almost immediately in fact.

That was his introductory press conference as the 49ers new head coach.

How about this awkward exchange?

Yikes!

Tomsula is back now though, having shaved the mustache and lost some weight at the insistence of his wife.

Someone please interview this dude immediately.
