Now that March Madness is over, the sports world is trying to give fans their next obsession.
The St. Louis Rams have an answer. They're proposing the latest sporting pool of sorts by are offering $100,000 to anyone who correctly guesses their entire schedule.
Before you start car-shopping or dreaming of lying on a white sandy beach, it's not as easy as it sounds. Here's what the winner would have to do:
- Pick the schedule in order,
- Pick the bye week, and
- Predict which games are on Monday night and/or Thursday night.
According to Yahoo Finance, the odds of winning are around 1 in 594sextillion. Here's what that looks like in number form:

In a much smaller contest, the Bills are offering free season tickets to anyone who can correctly guess their schedule. Yes, really!
Those cheapskates in Buffalo may get a winner, but St Louis will clearly have none. Just like Warren Buffett didn't. It was amazing enough that one dude only got the entire first round right.
Still, it's irresistable. Despite all of my ranting, raving and complaining, you know that I'm filling out my schedule and hoping to beat the odds.
And people wonder why Las Vegas will never go out of business.
