Alabama Hoopsters' 3-Man Game Looks Pretty Damn Good

The odds were already in Minnesota's favor.

The Crimson Tide bench just impulsively decided to tip the scales ... even more in Minnesota's favor.

For whatever the polls mean -- and at best, they're an opinionated but effective PR exercise -- the undefeated, 12th-ranked Golden Gophers didn't exactly need more of an edge, playing at home to undefeated, 24th-ranked Alabama.

Turns out they needed every edge they could get.

Alabama was already chopping into Minnesota's 14-point lead when matters started getting chippy.

Techs were issued to set teh stage, and then, with 13:30 left in the second half, tempers flared to a higher level and the carnage began:

That's when highly-touted freshman -- and likely one-and-done candidate -- Collin Sexton took over.

Dude definitely added to the argument that the Tide got a game-changer when they signed him:

Sexton finished with 40 points.

And with a shorthanded close-call comeback like this, various pundits with votes might wanna reconsider who's the higher-ranked team between these two.
