Kyrie Irving Believes the Earth Is Flat

The truth is out there, people.

Just ask Kyrie Irving.

The Cleveland point guard extraordinaire is really good at this basketball thing.

However, his grasp of geography and irrefutable scientific fact is murky at best.

On a recent podcast, the Cavaliers star stated definitively that he firmly believes the Earth is flat.

That was ... interesting.

Irving is putting his Dookie education to good use, questioning the science on everything.

Even the existence of dinosaurs is on the table in Kyrie Land.

Of course, there's no way of confirming whether or not Irving actually believes this nonsense, or has somehow not seen photographs of Earth from space.

However, if this is some elaborate statement on media and society, as NBA commissioner Adam Silver suggested, then this dude may just be a genius.

Predictably, the Internet imploded when hearing this revelation from Irving, much to his amusement.

Well played.

Oh snap!

Nicely done.

For what it's worth, LeBron James sort of defended Irving, giving his theory a tepid endorsement.

His thoughts on global warming, Area 51 and Sasquatch remain unclear.
