Manchester City Put Up a Performance to Remember

Those tumbling Citizens are stable now.

Manchester City smashed the relegated Queen's Park Rangers, 6-0, to mark their return to eliteness.

No opponent is easy when it comes to the Premiership, especially those desperately fighting the drop. However, such was not the case in the Etihad Stadium yesterday.

It was league’s hottest striker, Sergio Agüero, to light the fire:

Whoa! There was the nutshell version of why QPR are going down.

The next salvo came through a witty City freekick:

Aleksandar Kolarov sends it in through the side door.

No Chance

The Sky Blues' third was through a defensive error from QPR. Who woulda thought?

To make matters worse, City was then awarded a penalty and Agüero made the most of it.

Ronaldo should take notes.

Just when QPR thought it couldn't get any worse -- if they were thinking at all by then -- City treated them to a simple display of tic-tac-toe:

Damn! Instead of waiting for the inevitable, QPR should've volunteered to be relegated.

The last indignity was by far the best play from City, as they performed their version of a hot knife through butter:

And who else to score the magical goal than the owner of a magical foot: David Silva.

QPR. Surreal, dudes.
