This Eagles Fan Is Equal Parts Heroic and Petty
We've all heard the stories about the obsessively vindictive nature of Philadelphia sports fans.
Well, here's another one.
A Philly man stumbled upon an apartment fire overnight and stopped to lend a hand.
In the aftermath, dude was interviewed by a local station, providing this glorious soundbite:
"We was catching 'em ... unlike [Nelson] Agholor."

After catching children thrown from a window during a fire, a Philly man was feeling extra petty 😅

That may be the most Philliest thing that's ever Phillied.
The fact that he managed to burn Nelson Agholor immediately after saving children from the very same fate is deliciously ironic.
And dude sure can turn a phrase, with his my man just started throwing babies out the window quip.
Of course, the last thing the Eagles WR needs right now is a reminder of his many drops:
Eagles WR Nelson Agholor says he lost the ball in the lights on this late 4th quarter drop that could have been the winning TD

“I still got to make that play”

That was from last week in Atlanta, a brutal misplay that probably cost Philly the game.
And here's the lovely and talented Cris Carter discussing yesterday's home loss to the Lions that featured another 48 or so drops:
"You do not drop that many passes in an NFL game. ... Nelson Agholor was targeted 12 times, comes up with 50 yards. He needed to step up. ... Carson Wentz he hung in there as much as he could, but when you drop the ball that many times, it's hard to overcome it." — @criscarter80 pic.twitter.com/uHYHQkGQUi

Maybe they should start working with burning children during practice instead of footballs.
