Now the Bills Have Their Own Small Sample Size Slinger Sensation
For all the heat Buffalo and their first-round selection took from Draft Day onward, this day had to feel pretty damn good.
The Bills have been on the wrong end of an impossible comeback, but now their lore has just gained a counterbalance.
And their prematurely maligned rookie QB figured prominently in it.
You know Josh Allen is REALLY feeling himself when he decides to hurdle Anthony Barr 😂pic.twitter.com/86JW9YtF1g

What else would you expect from a Wyoming Cowboy?
Josh Allen took advantage of his first NFL road start to spearhead his 17-point dogs to a stunning 27-6 rout of the Minnesota Vikings.
Well, yeah. The very few who took Buffalo and the points would say that.
Cherry-pickers, on the other hand ...
A bettor at the Westgate SuperBook placed a $9,000 moneyline wager on the Minnesota Vikings to beat the Buffalo Bills straight-up at -2,000 odds. Bet would net $450. Bills lead 24-0 early second quarter.

Frankly, it's also notable that, in true Cowboy fashion, dude knew when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. He didn't force anything and accepted the three sacks he was forced to take rather that do something rash and tragic.
It made those plays where he did run look even better.
.@buffalobills @JoshAllenQB and a “quick 6” from Sunday’s shocking win. The only person that doesn’t look nor act shocked is the rookie QB. He is even better than advertised and can we put the accuracy issues away. He can really spin it. Welcome to Western NY. #BaldyBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/ckIqfZMP4O

Allen completed an impressive 15-of-22 passes for 196 yards and a touch.
All passes went to Bills, ie- no INTs.
It could've been worse for the Vikes, too ...

So, all of a sudden, the Bills are capable of stampeding someone on any given Sunday.
Like Cleveland and the Jets, they've just gotta show that one game doesn't make a sensation.
That's a bit harder to do.
