Michael Thomas Performs a Touching Homage to Joe Horn
The NFL has lightened up significantly in regard to touchdown celebrations this season.
As a result, we're enjoying some elaborately choreographed group demonstrations, something we were denied in the past.
Sadly though, props are still a big no-no, for good or ill.
Fortunately for us, there are brave crusaders such as Saints WR Michael Thomas, who choose to thumb their noses at the powers that be.
Please enjoy this blast from the past:

First of all, let's acknowledge the fact that dude's really good at football and is in the conversation for best WR in the NFL.
Okay, now back to the celebration.
That was super cool, despite the dual aneuysm suffered by Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in the immediate aftermath.
Joe Horn himself was deeply moved by the sign of respect.
When former Saints player Joe Horn saw Thomas cross the goal line on his 72-yard touchdown catch yesterday and race to the goal post to retrieve a hidden cell phone, he got emotional. pic.twitter.com/9ngGlc5AC1

And here would be the original flip phone spectacular, also taking place in the Superdome:
The sanctimonious Joe Theismann was really clutching at his pearls that night.
He did mention the Terrell Owens sharpie masterpiece, so let's get nostalgic.
A good time was had by all.
