Matt Patricia's Pissing Everyone Off at the Moment

The Matt Patricia era in Detroit is off to a dubious start.

The Lions' neophyte head coach isn't exactly endearing himself to anyone right now, as his team is currently in a 3-6 freefall.

However, while they do indeed bear a collective resemblance to Mr Hankey, Patricia seems to be hellbent on alienating pretty much everyone.

Of course, there was the entertaining Posture-gate, which featured the haggard Patricia lecturing the media on respect and professionalism.

 

Dude's yet again courting controversy, this time by forcing his team to practice outdoors in the snow.

On the surface, this doesn't seem all that unusual, until you take a peek at the Lions' upcoming schedule and realize that their next four games are indoors.

Yep, Patricia fully engaged his much-used defense mechansim, actually reading from a lengthy prepared statement to explain his curious methods.

 

Dude's a really poor fascimile of his mentor, Bill Belichick, as he's quirky and unconventional without the charm or sustained success.
