Jerry Jones and Zeke Elliott Mend Fences with the Help of a Novelty Tee
Well, thank goodness that saga has ended.
The rift between Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his franchise RB was no doubt keeping you up nights, so it's just nice to get some damn sleep and recharge the old batteries.
Of course, the $90million contract extension over six years was completely inevitable, and so was the manufactured drama produced by the lengthy holdout.
Obviously, the security of the $50million guaranteed was a compelling reason for Zeke Elliott to rejoin the Cowboys.
But we'd like to believe that it was this uproariously funny novelty tee that ultimately closed the deal:
It's really quite painful watching people force humor like that.
Of course, the T-shirt was a reference to the already iconic Zeke Who? joke that the elderly pot farmer cranked out during a set at the Funny Bone after someone named Tony Pollard had a nice pre-season game.
Everyone had a hearty chuckle over that one, and it's apparently not going away anytime soon.
Well, at least revenue from the sale of these ridiculous shirts will be going to a worthy cause:
Available online by the end of the day today and in the Pro Shops next week.

Proceeds from the sales of the shirts will go to The Salvation Army #business pic.twitter.com/xbdDFjoPLz
You'll recall that Elliott enjoys spending quality time inside the Salvation Army kettle.
He's totally worth the money.
