We Now Bring You the Comedy Stylings of Jerry Jones
In the privileged world of Jerry Jones, if he has assisted you in any way, both real or perceived, that apparently gives him certain liberties.
For example, the fledging comic and pot enthusiast recently unleashed a zinger when asked about stud RB and current holdout Ezekiel Elliott.
Of course, it wasn't really all that funny, especially to Zeke, who doesn't seem to be a fan of this particular brand of insult comedy.
For some context, here's a look at Jerry's impromptu set at the Laugh Shack:
Yes, Jerry Jones said "Zeke who", when asked if Tony Pollard is his "best negotiator".

But... this is the full "Zeke who?" sound bite from Jerry, complete with the necessary context of his follow-up to the joke, saying the #Cowboys need both Zeke Elliott and Tony Pollard. pic.twitter.com/yDiZnlwwke
Yeah, that's a real knee slapper, old man.
Despite the poor timing and complete awkwardness of that scene, a couple of those reporters really seemed to be enjoying themselves.
However, Zeke and his agent weren't the least bit tickled:
It drew a few laughs but neither @EzekielElliott nor agent Rocky Arceneaux found @Cowboys Jerry Jones' quip "Zeke who?" as amusing. Arceneaux: "I didn't think it was funny and neither did Zeke - we actually thought it was disrespectful."

In the addled mind of Jones, he's earned the right to say anything he pleases about his good buddy Zeke.
Now when one considers some of the nonsense that Jerry and the Cowboys have navigated on behalf of Elliott, this argument isn't necessarily without merit.
This will all be moot soon anyway, as Zeke will eventually get paid.
Even Jerry suggested in the above clip that backup Tony Pollard isn't any kind of short or long-term solution at the RB position.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys owner will continue to polish his act.
So that's what they call cringe comedy.
