Griffin Twins Re-Unite When Seahawks Take Shaquem
One more step.
One-handed Shaquem Griffin keeps racking up accomplished objectives:
- Dude first overcame the skeptics' doubts that he could play football.
- Then he proved he could excel in Division I football.
- Then he earned his way to the NFL combine and nailed it.
- Then, he became an official NFL draft choice when the Seattle Seahawks made the call.
Now, all that's left is to actually make the team.
If that happens -- and really, who'd bet against it at this stage -- Shaquem will join forces once again with his twin brother, Shaquill.
Both played at UCF, with Shaquill moving on to the NFL last year before doing his bit to set the stage for Shaquem and the Golden Knights to declare themselves national champions.
It could be a while before Seattle does that again.
The Seahawks are a few seasons away from titlehood, themselves. Some say their decline was accelerated by the most inexplicable call in Super Bowl history, but whatever the reason, dudes are clearly in regroup mode.
In real terms, this gives Shaqueem an excellent chance to shine.
So far, dude's been pretty good at that.
Got that right.
