ESPN Has Decommissioned the MNF BoogerMobile

The brand spanking new ESPN MNF broadcast has been an unmitigated disaster.

There are myriad reasons for this, most notably the vanilla former Cowboy Jason Witten spewing gibberish all over play-by-play man Joe Tessitore.

However, another lingering issue involves the existence of the BoogerMobile.

Yes, we are referring to the sideline hovercraft that has housed Booger McFarland for the majority of the season.

Apparently, the Mothership felt that the best way to build chemistry amongst the new three-man crew would be placing one of their analysts in a levitating football work station.

Much better.

The brilliant minds at ESPN do occasionally display the capacity to learn from their mistakes, though.

After realizing that McFarland isn't from the future, they parked the BoogerMobile for both the regular season finale and AFC Wild Card game, with all three dudes in the cozy, temperature-controlled booth.

Whether this is a permanent change going forward is anyone's guess, but it still doesn't solve the Witten dilemma.

Maybe there's an opening at Fox News.
