Cam Newton Appears to Take the High Road Regarding Kelvin Benjamin
Professional athletes can be rather petty sometimes.
For example, we have the case of Buffalo Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin.
This massively underacheiving former Carolina Panther decided it would be a good idea to toss some nastiness in the direction of Cam Newton in a recent interview.
Apparently, sour grapes were on the menu.
Hmmm, there doesn't seem to be much personal accountability here.
His taste in veteran QB's leaves a lot to be desired, as well.
Yes, any other accurate QB.
You know, like Eli Manning.
And for the record, Aaron Rodgers makes pretty much everyone look good.
So what does his former QB think of all this?
Well, it just so happened that the Bills and Panthers recently hooked up in an utterly meaningless pre-season game.

As of press time, there hasn't been any further escalation through social media or otherwise.
The sharp dressing Newton appears willing to let the whole thing go, probably realizing that nothing positive can come from fueling this trivial fire.
