Lane Kiffin Doesn't Care Much for Anonymous Sources

For future reference, if anyone out there would like to take a shot at Lane Kiffin, please identify yourself while doing so.

If history is any guide, there may be one or two folks who may have something to say about the well-traveled son of defensive guru Monte Kiffin.

The younger Kiffin is still in captivity at Florida Atlantic University, but he does appear to have Internet access.

As a result, he came across an article quoting several anonymous sources who seem to not dig the way Lane conducts his business.

These former colleagues certainly didn't reveal anything we didn't already know, recycling the old chestnuts about his caustic personality, his perpetual bridge burning, and his dubious people skills.

However, there was one individual who had no problem claiming his comments.

That would be Nick Saban.

The head coach of that academic juggernaut in Tuscaloosa has some very definitive thoughts on his former offensive coordinator.

Specifically, Saban helpfully suggested that Kiffin could maybe learn how to work with people a bit better.

That's right.

Nick Saban thinks someone else should be more accessible to people.

Well, maybe not the media.

Speaking of the media, Kiffin essentially blamed them for using these sources, as opposed to accepting the fact that he's alienated a significant amount of people at his various coaching stops.

While someone speaking ill of you on the condition of anonymity is probably pretty frustrating, it doesn't change the reality of Lane Kiffin.

These people are speaking from experience.
