Yes, the legends are true.
Zion Williamson has become something of a deity in his brief time playing NCAA hoops.
The Duke man-child recently provided yet another tall tale to share with the children before bed.
During an obscenely one-sided 101-50 evisceration of helpless Princeton, Zion the Great did this:
Zion hit his head on the backboard on this block 😮

Somehow, that wasn't an optical illusion.
Apparently, Zion was attempting to jump right out of the gym while blocking that shot, but the pesky backboard got in the way.
Twitter just about imploded after the play:
Zion hit his head on the backboard blocking a shot....I used to think I was bad ass when I tapped the backboard on a layup😂

Hey, that's still badass.
Zion Williamson has ruined all non-Zion college basketball games for me. He’s the most entertaining collegiate athlete I’ve ever seen.

This may sound like hyperbole, but it actually might not be.
Ummm @ZionW32 just stamped that shot 1 foot over the square. 🤦♂️

It's downright terrifying just how routine this shit's become for the future billionaire.
Zion's going to love Chicago.
