Zion Williamson Sends Dick Vitale into a Dangerous Tizzy with Missed Reverse Dunk

We ran out of adjectives to describe Zion Williamson months ago.

The thing is, even when the presumptive top pick in the 2019 NBA draft makes a mistake, it tends to still be really exciting.

For example, when he blows the occasional dunk.

His most recent brush with mortality happened at Cameron Indoor while his Blue Devils were pounding Boston College into submission.

 

Unfortunately, this one happened to have some collateral damage, as it almost killed Dick Vitale.

That was a pretty spectacular missed dunk, but it really seemed to affect Dickie V in a deep and profound way.

OG was able to pull his shit together but not before cranking up the gibberish full blast.

The spectrum of emotions that Vitale experienced in that brief sequence was a lifetime for most folks.

 

Meanwhile, the dude who almost killed Dick Vitale was more or less given a standing ovation after the botched reverse dunk, because those Cameron Crazies worship at the altar of Zion.

Probably the most important lesson to take from this is the fact that Dickie V can still go strong to the hoop with his unhinged madness, which is somehow comforting.
