The Celtics and Pacers Publicly Soil Themselves in Game 1
Well, that was a thing that happened.
The NBA playoffs are officially underway, and while every single series can't be gift-wrapped with a jaunty bow, we do expect a minimum level of play, particularly on the offensive end of the floor.
It's important to have standards in this world, but unfortunately, the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers weren't in that meeting.
The 4th- and 5th-seeds in the East fertilized the TD Garden thoroughly in Game 1 of their first round series, with the Celtics scoring 84 points and somehow still winning the game.
At this point, we should probably check out the highlights, such as they are.
You've been warned:
There's a fine line between tough defense and horrifically bad offense, and these two teams straddled this line the entire night.
The Pacers scored 74 points in 48 minutes, including a comical eight in the third quarter.
That wasn't another clip from the game, but we can certainly understand the confusion.
Of course, the game wasn't completely bereft of offense, as Kyrie Irving did some pretty cool shit, but it was still a difficult watch.
In fact, the most exciting part of the evening was probably this Bird sighting.
Larry Legend is pure electricity.
