Steve Kerr Would Like Draymond Green to Turn That Damn Music Down
Despite seeming almost bored in the first round of the NBA playoffs, Golden State was still able to dispatch those frisky Los Angeles Clippers in six games.
In addition to having an absurd collection of talent at their disposal, the Warriors' secret sauce appears to be their penchant for pushing each other's buttons.
For example, at a practice in preparation for the closeout game, Draymond Green appeared to go out of his way to annoy the absolute hell out of head coach Steve Kerr.
Of course, Green would qualify as a tenured professor on the subject of button-pushing, so this isn't terribly surprising.
It seems that Dray was enjoying the funky stylings of the late Nipsey Hussle during a shootaround, which happened to be right in the middle of a Kerr media session.
We'll let the participants take it from here:
Awkward moment at practice today. Steve Kerr wants the music down so media/reporters can hear questions/answers. Appears Draymond Green, who’s going through intense shooting routine behind scrum, wants it up. It stays up. pic.twitter.com/JcFp10X05o

Yikes, someone's authority just got undermined.
While the reporters got a chuckle out of Kerr symbolically shaking an old man fist at these kids and their damn rap music, the tension was palpable.
The 2016 NBA Coach of the Year looks tired and frustrated with the nonsense, and the dysfunction is very real.
A fan base used to winning constantly is a wee bit concerned:
I feel like we’ve been watching the dynasty disintegrating this year. They aren’t a team.

Jeff makes a good point.
Toxic Environment.

Also true.
Offseason whenever that comes will be full of changes. This team my #warriors look and play like they’re stressed out.

And there's your winner.
It's likely that none of this will matter in these playoffs, as the Dubs are still ridiculously good and will probably win their fourth NBA title in five seasons.
However, it's all coming down soon enough.
Oh, we'll be just fine.
